This year has seen ‘compliance grow’ in all it’s forms (sic), whether for corporates or public bodies. Always ensure you have the following in place:
Public Liability Insurance (£3-5m) – Public Liability, Product Liability, Worldwide coverage, Indemnities to/for third parties, accidental death/injury/disease, accidental loss or damage
Filming Request Form/s – dates/times, client/sponsor, company, contacts, locations, crew/personell, equipment, electrical, transport
Risk Assessments – fire procedures, locations/buildings, potential equipment hazards, lighting, camera safety, insurance, access
Method Statements – travel to site, location arrival/s, vehicle movements, get-in/equipment set-ups, get-out/equipment set-downs, working times, return travel
Release Forms – photography, film/video, adult/child, specific purpose/s, consents
NDAs – confidentiality, information, liabilites, IP disclosures, trademarks, governance
Data Protection Compliance – data privacy, public body openness, information rights, ICO – now becoming an even tougher General Data Protection Regulation!
